I talked to a guy in Cozumel once who hadn`t been able to dive for years due to a perforated ear drum. He loved diving and was young. The gist of it is that the situation had cleared up and he was diving again and loving it. Don`t know what your situation is but thing can always change.

Join a public safety team and be the tender. Become a DAN instructor. Volunteering at aquariums. Organize dives for LDSs / dive clubs and be the shore support. Those are my ideas.

@Tankus, I am truly sorry that you have to give up diving, but I hope you find a fulfilling way that keeps you connected.
