yup, all valves were supposed to be verified, including argon bottle...

Damned heretic, I was robbed! :crafty:

Actually I don't recall really doing any valve drills with el Heretic. We did those on our own "warmup" dives. Then got launched into the blue glove scenario dives. So there was sorta a disconnnect between valve drills and actual failures. And I don't remember flow checking (or not) argon bottles in scenario failures, I was a bit overwhelmed at the time.

Argon valves/hardware kinda have their own unique failures anyway (independent from the manifold) so I'm not too concerned about getting them mixed up with anything honestly. #1 failure for me has been the orings in the inflator itself. Had those poop out several times. I actually bought extras last time and they came in handy for a SoCal guest up here a couple weeks ago.

Limeyx were you flow checking argon valves in your class last year?

We did flowcheck argon -- I have heard AG will simulate an argon "failure" if you dont :)
obviously stages too.

We did not on T1 -- but we had plenty of other issues to worry about there :)

Neither gideon or AG mentioned it specifically but Maciek I think in his T1 had an Out of Argon and has now learned his lesson :)
