Can anyone take me and my son shore diving near FLL on Sept 7th?

You never know what the conditions are going to be.... play it safe and just go out on the cattle boat
Right, which is why I suggested BHB; the conditions are nearly always OK.
BHB is a bit north, and you will have to deal with rentals that may be a bit tough to manage. (Been there; done that.) Either a shore or boat dive in the Lauderdale by the Sea (Aqui) or Pompano Beach area can work for you, since it is all done at one place not so far from the ret of your trip. I believe Aqui has its own boat now.
Thanks everybody for chiming in. @Scuba_Jenny reminded me that high tide is not until 15:30ish which means we would have to wait most of the day for a shore dive. So we decided to hit the road south and catch a boat out of KW when we get there.
