Can anyone recommend a good "refresher" book?

Just wanted to review the basic concepts of SCUBA at home. I didn't keep any of my notes or books from my certification class. Thanks!

You could purchase the open water student book on eBay. There is likely a used, older edition for really cheap compared to buying a brand new set.

You could repurchase the open water manual, as stated.

You could buy the Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving (PADI), which is a very nice reference, although it isn't really a procedural manual.

Or you could purchase Begin with the End in Mind, which is GUE's really excellent open water manual. It's an online purchase, relatively inexpensive, and an really excellent text.

The legality is debatable, but there is a wide range of PDF manuals (including the PADI encylopedia and ow manual), in addition to courses DVDs available for download as torrents. Search on btjunkie.com
