Hi,

I'm in the middle of my camera housing and canister lamp project.
I use PVC bars for the tubes: d120mm for camera, d70 for battery canister. Walls will be 10mm thick. Internals CNC-ed out. Back for the camera tube id cut 60degrees to have a comfortable view on the screen.
Front and back for the camera tube is polycarbonate 10mm thick.
Grips are 36cm long 10bar flex arms mounted on a stainless steel rack.
You can check the drawings here (not the latest, will update):

Camera is a pana nv-gs230 with extra battery from dealextreme.
Screen is a Pustom 3" from dealextreme (sku 15001)
Batteries for the screen and in canister are Li-ion 18650s from DX too.
Lamp will have 3 SSC-P7. Driver DX sku 20330.

I'll overdrive the PCB with 4x4 (ser x par) batteries to let it work with 3 LEDs. It seems to be working on desk panel :)

SSC P7 makes ~160 degree light. I'm wondering if I should use a reflector or not. I'm planning to glue the whole light head in one piece to avoid leaks. So it is easier without reflectors.

Still wondering on the switch, but I think I'll glue it together with the head.

I'm unable to find 37mm underwater filter for the camera (i usually go to blue water areas). Any chance to order it in Europe?

Pctures will come soon...
