Nothing is inside our webbing. It is 2 ton strength and all connections are box stitched. The parachute cord that goes to the tray is incredibly strong. I've never heard of one of ours breaking/tearing.
It's easy to use as it's stretchy nylon.

It sure feels like it has a piece of bungee inside the webbing. I can feel something round and coiled inside the webbing. It feels like about 6mm thick. It seems like that coiled stretchy thing inside the webbing is what makes it stretchy, not the webbing sleeve.
