calm day at halona blowhole

..time off.. cousins in town..
so, whilst they enjoyed the beach..
i got to dive halona blowhole on a weekday!

it was so calm in fact.. i was able to surface swim all the way out the cove..
here's a pan-scan view from left to right facing the coast-line..

but.. every now and then.. there was a ROGUE WAVE! =D

blowhole has a lot of contrasting topography..
this is what i dubbed "gator-alley"..
follow this formation heading 180° from the mouth of the cove to get to the canyon..

there are also a bunch of caverns just left and right of the cove..

it has nize large patches of live coral too..

and.. at the edge of the frontier toward sandy's.. i found "stone-henge"..
kinda eerie aye?.. i think a bunch of aliens must've set 'em there =)

then i found a zebra..

finally, toward the end of my second hour+ dive..
this giant school of white-goatfish.. ten-thousand strong!
were charging toward me.. *me thinks.. wonder if something big is chasing "them"?

nice pictures. I love the blowhole (not a lot of divers), just not the climb up or down. Looks like high tide.
