Sounds like a damn good time!!!

I've been to San Miguel twice this year, and viz was not great for either trips. However, the macro was awesome. In the late spring (which was when I went), there were lots of baby fishies. The baby fish schools were thick enough to render viz near zero.

And yes, I felt bad for the ling cod and vermillions that got harvested, but hey they're legal sized.
