Since I began this thread on the First Annual California MAG I would like to make an input.
It is evident that;
* Camping is not an acceptable to some who demands a hotel and room service.
* Walking to the dive area is not acceptable to those who fall off a boat.
* Surf entries are also not acceptable to those who frequent the dive park.
May I make a suggestion---A central location on the beach
The Five Cities Area of the Central Coast,
( this includes the cities of Oceano, Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach and Shell Beach)

230 miles north of LA/OC
240 miles South of San Francisco
On the 101 Free Way
About a 4 hour drive
Temperate climate.
Very cool in summer time-Seldom over 75 degrees
Can be chilly in winter time--during the evening
Days are Generally sunny and warm year round.
Dive shops;
2 in San Luis Obispo
1 in Pismo Beach
1 In Santa Maria
Kayaking - Central Coast Kayaks
Diving;
Beach--Rocky or Sandy
Pier Sandy--enter from dock on Pier.
Kayaks ample lauching, bring or rent
Accommodations;

Avila Bay..Private crowded but with small Cabins for rent $$
Pismo Village.. Private, crowded on beach $$$$
State campgrounds (2)..On beach $

Many many..Price will bring a tear to the eye $$$$$

Outlet center
Boutiques every where
Shell & nautical shops

All over Central coast
