Can anybody refer me to somebody in the Los Angeles area who is expert at rigging Dive Rite harnesses? You know, kind of like a tailor who does custom alterations. Many thanks.

Is this a Transpac harness, Transplate Harness, Deluxe or Basic harness?
Try the dive shop you bought the harness from. If they are a dive rite dealer, someone there should be pretty good.
Otherwise I'd recomend going to the Cali Kelp divers forum... you'd have better luck attracting the attention of someone local. I mean I'd be more than happy to help you out, but it would be a bit of a trip for me.

Check with Kareem or Hal at Hollywoodivers, they are near Universal City, or Pacific Wilderness in San Pedro... It's a big city or I'd recommend someone more local to you if I knew where you were, but these two will be able to help you out. Good luck!
