I went on a week's vacation with my wife, her daughter and husband in Cabo March 19 to 23 (I'm the only diver). I did two days of boat diving with an outfit called Land's End and had a great time! We did two dives each day. They took me to Land's End, Pelican's Rock, North Wall, and the Sea Lion Colony. The marine life was fantastic! Puffers, angels, sea cucumbers, a seahorse. We even had a seal zoom through our group. I located a fish about 3 foot long that the DM called a guitar fish which he described as being half stingray, half shark. The DM took me to what I thought was a huge cliff wall, but turned out to be school of thousands of fish. I'd never seen anything like it.

Water temps were around the upper 60s to low 70s, so I used a 5mm wetsuit and hood. The viz was around 60 to 100 ft depending on the day and location. There was hardly any current. Topside weather was great; mid to upper 80s, sunny, breezy. Definitely a dive site you don't want to miss if you get the chance.

I like the diving in Cabo, too bad you didn't get to dive Gordo Banks.

About 12 years ago, the town was small and easy to get around in. Price then were cheap. Dove most of the stuff you did but had many sealions swim with us. Saw a few seahorses back then. Never been back but I'd like to do that again some time.
