The boat sits just off the beach while the staff change the tanks. There are no moorings or docks in Cabo Pulmo, so everything is done from the beach.
That was the nice thing about being on a liveaboard. The panga brought us all the way back to the Nautilus Gallant Lady after our second dive (usually back at the boat around 11:30AM), we went back on board, put on dry clothes, had lunch. The GL crew filled tanks and also fed our boat DM and captain (who ate on their panga) and then around 12:45 we loaded back up and went out for two more dives, returning to the GL no later than 4:30 (and sometimes earlier). 4 dives/day did not feel rushed at all.
