I made my first ocean dive last week in Cabo San Lucas...many thanks to the Manta dive crew: Louis, Ivan and Sumo! We had a great time diving the Cabo Pulmo site. Water temp was just above 70 f and visibility was around 20 feet. Lots of rays, eels and schools of everything else! We made three dives from 30 to 60 feet and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Some pics for you to enjoy...also my first...need to improve on my photography, but I'm very pleased with the memories!

Pueblo Bonito Blanco...clean, quiet, lots of room, good food and great service. Not one person asked me or my wife about time shares...from the airport to the hotel, thought that was strange.

I expected to be swarmed by them and my friends who landed hours ahead of us warned of the same. Must have been during their break time.

Thanks for posting the photos. The visibility looks to be more than 20'. Love the puffer shot! I am heading down next week so I am hoping that the viz is clearing up. Last year it was more like 80' tp 100'. Was either the restaurant at Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort or the one by the boat launch open? I heard CPBR was closed for the lack of business.

We didn't visit any restaurants, not sure about the CPBR. Visibility really wasn't that great, lots of sediment, cloudy water, but I may have underestimated.

Enjoy!
