I have been playing with the colour balance and now I don't know where to stop.
He looked the same size as a VW beetle, maybe I exagerate.
Please help with the colours, I am happy to email the original if you prefer to work from that.

try this in photoshop in the mean time:

make a new color balance layer adjust sliders leaning towards increasing red and decreasing cyan. then make a curves adjustment layer and select the medium contrast preset. :)
 
Here is a quick stab at it with CS3. I am no expert but there is only so much you can do or it looks "Photoshoped". I just Sharpened, little CC and then contrast.

I used the remove color cast tool in Elements 5.0 for this one. I clicked on his tooth as "white".
