Hamster...

I'm curious, where are the "10" military dive shops on Okinawa??? I know of 3. MCCS runs Tsunami Gear (they do have multiple shops on the different MC basis, but all run by MCCS), 18th Services runs the shop at Kadena Marina (AF) and Army MWR runs the shop at Torri Station.

Also, none of these shops are in any way associated with AAFES. They are each run by their Services recreation associations.

Which ones have charter services now??? When I left there (it has been almost a year) Kadena Marina had just started one up, I'm not sure about Torri, but Tsunami offered no organized diving other than classes.

Hey AliKat,

I thinlk he was reffering to the many Tsunami gear locations, their prices ae diffrent at all locations. Yuo the Marina has a lil charter service, but your better off going w/ Seasir or ReefEncounters.

The folks at the Marina and whoever the heck works at Tsunami gear this week dont know much about real diving. So my advise to Oki folk is always Torii.
