Couple of things. Newer (this year at least that I know of) DR SS plates don't need a STA. CAM bands are extra. I suggest getting the CAM bands with the SS buckle, not the plastic.

Dive Rite's plates may allow the use of wings without STA's, but according to Dive Rite's site none of their wings support this. To my knowledge, the Pioneer is the only wing made that doesn't require an STA for single tank use. I'd appreciate being corrected, but their pictures and descriptions make it sound like this is not the case.

www.diveriteexpress.com, otherwise known locally as Fill Express, is a LDS in Florida who also does business over the internet. They are an authorized Dive Rite dealer and everything comes with the full manufacturer's warranty.

Ditto and correct. They are one of the biggest DiveRite dealers around. Also reputable.

I have bought equipment from them before, and I currently have my deco tanks in for visual with them now. I probably go to the shop twice a month for fills of one sort or another. An impressive operation to see if you are ever in the neighborhood.

I live down here. So I have never dealt with them via delivery, however, I would have no problem in trusting them to fulfill anything promised.

I live in Brandon and have only been twice to the shop
But buy online all the time
I would recomend them for all dive rite gear

I would hate to think what it costs to hydro all those bank bottles :11:
They also took over the place next door
so there will be more of them shortly

Actually, I think that might be the case for DR wings, but my Oxycheq 45 is a single tank wing and designed for cam bands.

Another positive for Diveriteexpress of Fill Express. Great service, good prices and they are an authorized Diverite distributor.

Later,

Dennis

You can use your Oxycheq 45lb wing without an STA

If the slots on the backplate match the slots on the wing you can
The sta will make it more stable
You can always try without Sta and get one later

I just ordered the BP/W deal they're currently offering and the new Iso manifold I was asking about.

When I opened the box I found that the crotch strap which is part of the deal wasn't in there, nor were the snorkel tubes on the manifold. I called them yesterday to tell them about the discrepency and the whole conversation was essentially, "Really? I'll send them out right now."

Should be here tomorrow. So far this has been the onliest "problem" I've ever had with them, and I'm sure no one could say that this is even a very minor inconvenience which was addressed in a most satisfactory and friendly way.

PLUS they're an authorized dealer?!? They're awesome.
