buying a wetsuit for my daughter

I want to buy a 3 or 4 mm full suit for my 8-year old daughter, it'll be for snorkeling, no diving. Can anyone recommand a local place that offers good price, we don't need anything fancy or brandname, just something that works. I've already tried sports chalet and a couple of dive shops, they only carry adults and teens. bought one on ebay, way too big. we live around the Long Beach area. thanks.

Did you try Dive 'n Surf? I remember gettin my first wetsuit as a kid there.

If you want to go the custom route you could use JMJ (New Page 2), but knowing how fast kids grow...

You might try Pacific Wilderness in San Pedro, but I don't remember them having kid sizes.

Dive N Surf in Redondo Beach, its a great place to buy suits. the staff is really helpful. its also a historical site for many different ocean sports.

If your only looking for a 3mm 4mm then any local surf shop will have it. I got mine from ebodyboarding.com, based out of San Clemente. You still get all the blind double stiched sealed, for around 100 bucks.

FYI, I see that Dive 'N Surf is having an end of summer sale this week...actually, it's through Sept 7. I'm trying to avoid the gravitational pull...
