Buying a BC

I'm a new diver and am going to purchase my first BC. The companies I'm looking at are Diverite(Transpac model) and OMS(IQ model). I would like to know if anyone has any experience with these models and also the pros and cons of each. I'm looking to get into tech and thought these would be best for that application as well as recreational diving. My town does not have a LDS where I can rent them (we have a Sport Chalet) so would appreciate as much info as possible.

There are very numerous threads here concerning the pros and cons of those, as well as other options. You might want to search those out, then ask specific questions about your choices.

Being a new diver, you have lots of time before going tech to find out options.

Agree. DO NOT RUSH INTO BUYING. WHEN YOU BUY, buy a quality product.
