I have a 3442 psi valve that I want to put on a 3000psi tank, so I figure swapping out the burst disk would be a good idea... anyone know the appropriate burst disk psi for a 3000 psi aluminum tank?

does the 3442 valve fit onto a 3000psi tank??

Yep, it's a thermo pro 230 bar

Phunk:
The correct burst pressure for 3AL 3000 psi cylinders is 5000 psi. If your valve is manufactured by Thermo the XS Scuba part number for the burst disc assembly is VP01-30.

There are no fit issues. Steel 3442 psi cylinders have the same 3/4" x 14 NPSM inlet thread.

Thank's XS, that's what I thought but I wanted to confirm.

Interesting... diverite's website says 100-120 inch-lbs, so I went and found the info on thermo's site. You are correct, it should be 80-100.
