The tank dive at epcot is not cheap, not saying its not good ,I was contemplating doing it but am going to pass.Only theme park I am going to is Universal.
Last time I was in Florida was just over 7 years ago, before I took up diving.
I used to live in England, moved here to Spain 7 years ago this month.
Given the chance would live in USA.

i take it u like to travel.:D heheh me to i love to travel. are there any dive site's in england?
1 more thing i'm going to to be 14 in 2 day's:D :D :D
where is that pic taken of u in spain?

Sure I like to travel, thats partly why I want to become an instructor,I also get a kick from passing on skills.
Wow 14 in two days time ,boy I would like to done stuff like this when I was younger .I was more into motorbikes and cars when I was younger mind you not at fourteen, cant remember to clearly what I was up to it was a few years back thats for sure that much I do know.
It must be great diving with your dad I know I like snowskiing with my dad, which is where that photo of me was taken (by an ex girlfriend of mine) on a ski resort here in Spain called Sierra Nevada,it is a good resort for beginers and intermediate skiers, and best of all for me only 2 hours from my house.
I live up a hill and can see the sea from here which is only ten mins away on a pushbike but more like half an hour back as its up hill all the way, also on some evenings before night fall (dusk) can see the outline of Morroco.

Opps forgot to say there are a good many sites in the UK to dive although I have not dived there. There is a good forum like this one named ,yorkshire-divers.com

Yes you are correct. In order to become a PADI instructor first you have to become a divemaster then you are eligable to enrole in an instructor developement course after that sit the instructor exams.

Hi Duncan!

Do you ever do any research in the archives in Spain on any of the treasure fleets that may have lost ships over here?

I hope you enjoy your visit.

Cheers!!
Kim

Hi Kim.
Tried to find out on the net more about the wreck we dive here that has the buttons and such on it but could find nothing. Was able to identifiy button as from the early 17th century. What I did find out that a number of vessels from here that ended up in the USA waters and have been found ,cant remember to much about them really only that some have been found whilst excavating for building /construction.
Am looking forward to my trip now ,packing my kit today fly to the UK tuesday one night at my fathers place then leave for Florida following day.

Hello Duncan!

There are supposedly many ships from Spain in US waters that have not yet been found, and some that have been found, which you can dive.

Good luck on the search for info on your vessel.

Have a WONDERFUL trip!!

Cheers!!
Kim
