Don't go with the sinking boat people.....

I'd like to research this dive a bit. I wouldn't mind doing it on the afternoon of the 12th if they go out fairly late in the day. I kind of like the idea of doing this dive before someone gets attacked, as I imagine that will put an end to it. (little joke)

If they're chumming or feeding bull sharks I'd have to pass.

I'm flying out on the 13th so it would have to be a morning dive on the 12th.. They do feed the sharks. I was thinking the same thing, I'd like to do this before someone got bit!! From what I understand the bulls are following the bait box up to the boat!! so I don't know how long this is going to happen....

No really. We were staying at the Ibero a while back and some Canadians with kids who had their own room, (slammed the doors and crank called us,) went to see them. The boat started to sink. They got back to the pier as it went down. They lost some stuff and everything got wet and 'fuelly'. I dont know the op.

Don, the slamming doors and making anonymous phone calls to our room was just how I referenced the slightly annoying and unsupervised kids who were staying below us. It didn't really have to do with their shark boat sinking. Think it was December of 09....?

There's only one operator that I'm aware of that feeds them.
The one not to go with! Yeah, the sharks follow the food, but mistakes happen. They're not bright; just efficient at eating. We are talking Bulls here, one of the few dangerous species.

Anyone understand that? :dontknow:

Any dive op feeding bull sharks should be avoided. It may be a great dive, but really bad training for the sharks. I thought we learned that lesson with bears decades ago.

Get your great dive, take some killer photos and screw the person the shark associates with a meal. This is an accident waiting to happen and I don't want to be part of it.
