Yesterday I saw post on facebook in a couple different places about a fisherman killing one of the local bull sharks on the Duane. Any one know any real information about this?

We have commercial fishing boats that come every summer and harvest Bullsharks from Stuart to Boynton. And of course there is Mark the Shark in Miami who loves nothing more to catch, kill and discard large sharks.

There is something about killing sharks that really pisses me off. These animals are one of my favorite ocean creatures and I pity the fool that does anything against one when I am nearby.

Some of these guys seem to kill the sharks for the thrill of it. I don't get it.

I would have thought most men got over the KILL KILL KILL syndrome as they hit 30. By then they know how "tough" or not "tough" they are and don't need to keep proving it. Killing a big shark with modern technology = not tough, closer to "sissy boy" trying to compensate.

Little man syndrome??
