I am interested in building a rack made out of pvc to hang my drysuit upside down to both dry it and store it. Does anyone have a photo of one, plans or ideas that might be of some help. Steve:confused:

I have nice Nutone bathroom fan from a yard sale that has this project written all over it.

Mine is a variation on that theme but uses a small 5" electric fan designed to cool electronics. it is mounted in a radio shack project box plumbed with a par of PVC 45 degree elbows feeding the dryer. A huge amount of flow is not needed, just ebnough to keep the air circulating is plenty. The advantages are that it is very quiet, drys the suit overnight and does not produce tons of ozone which is not good for the suit.

Thanks. This is exactly what I was looking for! I appreciate the quick responses.

I was just thinking about doing this. Looks like a project for next week.

I just bought the new Mares drysuit hanger that hangs the drysuit upside down by the attached boots. I haven't tried it yet but it looks like it should work well. Should be a lot simpler then the pvc thing.
