Budget Maui

We found great rt price from Oakland 280.00 and want to do a bunch of shore diving. Any budget minded scuba motels out there between Kihei and Mckenna?
We'd consider a condo rental too. We'll be there 5 days. Hoping for 100 a day or less.

You could try the Days Inn in Kihei. They're about the cheapest place to stay in the area. You could also try contacting Shaka Doug, he has a studio condo in Kihei for rent. Ed Robinson also has a couple of nice places he rents, but they'll be a bit more than $100 ($115 I think for the 1 bedroom).

When? Low season many of these are - high season they're $20-100 more. Slightly more for less than 7 days also. If you're looking at around the holidays, availability is going to be an issue also.

All are in Kihei - likely across the street from the beach. Views are likely to the mountains or obstructed. Probably larger complexes also.

Assuming "McKenna" is Makena - rentals will be cheaper in Kihei than Wailea typically.
