Hi all,
I checked out the Buddy Reel, which is a pretty sweet gizmo. A.P.Valves
For now, though, I'd rather stick with a finger spool. That said, the Buddy Reel comes with a very sturdy line, which is much thinner than cave line and my guess is you should be able to fit at least 130 feet if not more on a regular spool that otherwise barely holds 100.
The Buddy Reel manufacturer claims that they had their own proprietary line made for the reel, but I find that hard to believe.
Does anyone know what kind of line is on the Buddy Reel and where to get it from?
Is it perhaps kite line, or something like that?
