We are trying to plan our trip to Bonaire... I am so frustrated!

We have a timeshare at Buddy Dive and were looking to go sometime in February or March.

Unfortunately, the airline rates are RIDICULOUS!!!!

WHAT IS HAPPENING???????

It looks like we might have to deposit our week and go somewhere else.

Do you think they will add more flights?
Will they go down?
Cheapest airline?
hints on finding cheaper flights?

Any suggestions are welcome!

What prices are you getting?

You could consider flying to Toronto and fly direct on Sunwing to Bonaire. You’ll need to book 2 separate tickets for this. Sunwing flights are in CAD.

Around the $1,000.00 mark

We have people flying out of Chicago
and have people flying out of New Orleans

It makes more sense for the Chicago people as flights from Chicago to Toronto can be fairly inexpensive. Probably not so much for those in New Orleans.

Ugh, to get the time to work out, it would be 3 stops
ord to yyz, yyz to cle then ewr

Wouldn’t it be ORD to YYZ to BON? I’m not sure why “yyz to cle then ewr”.

I see.

You have to book Sunwing flights on Sunwing.ca

Google doesn’t show their flights.

Here’s a pic I took. The price you see is in CAD$ so equal to approx. USD$652. Then you gotta find a ORD to YYZ flight that works with the time and cheap enough to make this option worth it. That will be the difficult part, but if you have enough people going, even sharing a hotel room overnight might make it worth it overall. In the end, things might work out but it may not, but it is an option to consider.

Also try looking for each flight (to and from) as a one way flight on Google flights. Sometines it makes a very noticeable difference... not often with good connections, but sometimes...
