Fellow wreckers,

I will give you second opportunity (my dive buddy and I took first :) ) to dive with Bottom Time Charters on American side wrecks out of Brockville, Ontario on September 3 and 4 of next year.

Deposits are paid and the boat is bought for whoever wishes to join me and my dive buddy. Ten divers plus myself will fill the boat and costs will be split evenly among the participants. I will give the money deal via PM on request. And yes, we DO have morning charters.

The water here is in the St. Lawrence River and was in the seventies when I dove it last year at the same time. The scenery in Brockville must be seen to be believed and the captain is great one!

Let me know if you are interested and all details will be PM'ed.

Hope to see you there!

Brian

Spots are still open on this trip. It looks to be a lot of fun and if you are a wetsuit diver this location will be perfect for you. The water was 68-70 degrees last year.

Hi Brian,

Money is in the mail. I'll let you know as soon as possible whether Lynn or any of my other local buddies is able to join in on the fun.

Also, the charter is booked for Sat / Sun. Anyone interested in adding on Monday? Let me know!

Paula

I noticed some confusion as someone sent me a PM about this.

This IS for 2005. I booked the charter over over Thanksgiving of last year and posted the orginal thread then.

Thanks!

Brian

brian we might be interested, what wrecks are you doing? PM me the approx. price pls and I will pass onto my buddies. maybe 4 of us. Keystorm/America/Vickery/Peel? well the oconto and the jodrey but they are beyond our training. and the peel is junk. the first 3 are not to be missed:D Vickory my fav.
(those are the only wrecks on the american side I know of).

FYI the water in the river now is 75.

Brian,

What kinda driving time/distance would I be looking at...? Any carpooling option to save on gas money...?

Tim,

We could plan on meeting somewhere along the way. I plan on diving with my son James that weekend, but can't confirm his schedule yet. If he can't go we could be dive buddies, I think Brian already has a buddy picked out for this trip. Brian please advise us on directions for this trip and we can work with Tim. I think we can fit everyone's gear in my trailer and we could take my van.

Dude, Its like 200 miles from Chicago to Jackson. Then Brockville is like 520 miles from Jackson.... What time were you guys looking to depart? Something tells me I'd need to take Friday off...

I'm in on the mix as well. Was figuring on meeting Brian or someone near the Blue Water Bridge (Port Huron, MI). Would then cut through Canada. I'll most likely take Friday off but won't know if that's possible for a few days given I just returned to work yesterday.

Artw: PM sent

Paula, Netmage, Mittendiver:

I haven't made any solid carpool plans yet. I have a set of 22 channel two-way radios if someone wants to meet and carpool/caravan.

Looks like the best route once we hit Canada is the 402 to the 401. I plan to be using the Bluewater Bridge as it is the closest to me. Brockville is RIGHT ALONG the 401 so you will not be able to miss it.

I have Thursday and Friday off, so I can leave anytime Friday to put myself in a position to caravan. I do want to reach Brockville by a decent time so that we can all rest prior to departure on Saturday morning. I will be talking to the captain as he normally recommends the Days Inn out there. The LED's among us have a much prettier border crossing near Watertown NY :) .

More later as I still have details coming in!

Brian
