I have been all over the Caribbean and bring my camera (Cox, Bonaire, Roaton, etc.). Bringing it is a pain these day with airline security and was wondering if it is worth bring this time of year to Cabo. This is not a dive trip but a trip with my wife with a day or two of diving thrown in!!

Suggestions please.

Thanks

I know what you mean. I'm always detained for further inspection of my camera bag. I've had on numerous occasions threats to confiscate batteries and a i've had a 2-inch hex tool thrown out. Because of baggage weight and concern over theft, there is no-way my camera equipment is going into checked luggage.

Hello Divers.
I always bring my camara. There are lots of photo ops top side as well as down under.you will see lots of mirco life and more the 600 or so species of tropical fish that are in the area are worth the effort. Sunsets in Cabo are famous as well as the Arch and lovers beach.

Thanks all. Don't know if bringing the camera on a "non-dive" trip to Cabo is worth it. Any other thoughts?
