calm conditions this morning, ankle surf, little half foot wind chop and minimal surge. Vis about 8-10ft with a really brown layer starting at 35fsw. Along wall from 15-25fsw wasn't bad and had enjoyable dive out near end of the breakwater. Schools of blue rockfish mostly small ones but encountered some very large ones farther out along the wall and observed them snacking on floating bits and looking fat from it. Had a sea lion fly by, cormorant dive-by, saw a couple nice lings, cabezon, opaleye and a lone large kelp bass. yellow nudibranchs abundant and some paired up (mating?). Returning got some fishing line snagged in my snorkel and had to actually remove my snorkel to free myself. Sun was out at end of dive around 10am and warming up nicely.

Good dive, wish the vis was a bit better

Anyone been to the carmel side recently? hows the vis there?

65 min dive on AL80
didn't note the temp, probably 50-53F
