There is nothing in PADI's standard and procedures that prevents using a long hose.

In fact, when associating ones self with PADI, it Helps to be used to a very long hoseing. eyebrow
 
Stephen, Thanks for the info. And Bjorn thanks for the link.

When I was teaching, still active status, but haven't taught a class in over a year, I used a long hose and a BP. Myself and one other instructor taught basic class this way, but since we haven't been teaching much seems the LDS came up with a new stance on the long hose.

Thanks for giving me the PADI side.

I think I will end up in a BP&W.
