Im a panhandle diver myself and have dove a lot w/ SBM and some w/ SeaYoda. I highly recommend you look them up when you get in town they are the friendliest bunch of divers Ive ever met.

Now about BP/W, At the time I was the only bp/w diver in the bunch. Ive now started diving the many u/w caves here in N.FL where EVERYONE dives a pb/w.
Having dove other places I cant think of anything special about the local springs that might negativly affect you by diving a bp/w. However if you decide to start cave diving, your gonna get one anyway!

Thanks Humu, I had noticed that rig mentioned in other posts, and have had my eye on it.

CBulla, do you happen to know if it was the stock webbing, or the "house brand" that I see they also offer?

Buy my DR plate so that I can buy that DSS plate.

Hey Buscuit7, have you ever used the Halcyon doughnut config? I have a Dive-Rite SS BP with 100 cu.ft.steel tank, but would like to get a setup for doubles - looking at Faber 85's or maybe the Worthington 100's (hear Pressed Steel went into receivership and their tanks may/maynot be available). Was advised by the guys at Extreme Exposure to get an AL BP, 60# lift Explorer wing (doughnut config) for the twin steels. The doughnut seems to be a better design for dumping gas than a standard wing, but I don't have any experience diving with one. Any thoughts?
