..are you drinking too? I seem to get into the most trouble when I combine beer and scubaboard...not to mention I just finished watching "Office Space" again...

Hey O-Ring,

Did you ever notice the name of the Apartment Complex from "Office Space" ?

Now here's a "duh" question for you - are you going to be using this information as criteria for a tank purchase?

Ben,

No - this question was just to satisfy my curiosity. I am interested in finding out if it would be worth the trouble to find 100's on my next dive vacation. I am especially interested in finding 100's for Nitrox diving as I run out of air before my NDL time, however... the original question was concerning air only. I was going to bring up Nitrox later

Zboss,
You live pretty close to me so I am guessing you will be doing some diving off the coast of VA, DE, MD, or NC. All those places are deep...most of the ops rent larger steel or aluminum tanks. You would be disappointed in AL80s in any of those environments, as you would have very short dives and be cutting your safety margins to nothing (depends on depth, SAC, etc.). If you are renting, rent the big ones...if you are buying, buy the big ones too.

Although I owned 2 AL80s I always rented 95s, 100s, or larger when I went down there...it was worth the expense.
