I use the Lycra socks from XS Scuba, as other people have said, they make getting into wet boots easier and prevent rubbing. I also think my boots stink a little less, since I can rinse the socks between dives.

I tried those, but I couldn't fit my feet into them! Love the price, too bad they are so small! They seem really nice...I wear a size 12 FWIW.

I have been diving with Lycra socks for years after a buddy recommended them. They are especially good for repetitive dives like when I am diving Bonaire and will do 3 -5 dives a day. I wear the Lycra socks when I'm diving wet. They help prevent blisters and chaffing. And they make getting in and out of a wet bootie much easier.

Nothing worse than a sticky wet bootie. Ewwwww.

Ummmm stupid question. ... I'm a wet suit diver. ... means

The socks and booties will get wet and filled with water right? Lol

I might just take tennis socks from here and buy tube ones if needed in Bonaire.

Lycra socks much easier to deal with wet than ordinary socks and they dry nicely between dive days if that matters to you.

Bonaire being so warm shouldn't things dry overnight. That reminds me I hope my hotel which is sand dollar has washer dryer detergent etc. .... they should right? If u remove swim snorkel scuba from equation there ain't nothin in Bonaire.

+1 on lycra or polypropylene. Buy them cheap, there is nothing special about them, more than $10 is more than you need to pay. They are thin, light, dry fast, prevent chafing, ease don and doff of wetsuits and boots, don't affect fit...

Here's an example Gobi - Wigwam - Socks - Footwear - SAIL
