Booked my trip to Kona

For Christmas 12/21/10-12/31/10. We are staying on a condo at Kahaluu Beach. I know it's early, but please share your farovite dive OPs, sites, and tips. If anyone is interested in shore diving, send me a PM. I have been to the island but not as a diver. I can't wait.

Favorite op: Jack's Diving Locker

Favorite sites: sites in the Red Hill area, Golden Arches, Pyramid Pinnacles, Kaiwi

Tip: Be flexible with your shore diving plans in December. You'll likely get in some great dives...but the surf can come up in the winter. Sites such as Place of Refuge are usually protected from a winter swell. (Boat dive options are still great as you have choices for avoiding any swell.)
