I've never been to Bonaire, but usually read reports about Buddy's, Capt Dons, Divi, Sand Dollar, Plaza. Never heard about Den Laman. Is it a new property ?

It is pretty new... I think it will open about a year now.

Den Laman is new. It opened late last fall or early this year so thats the main reason you don't see much on it. It's located at a nice spot on the location of the old Den Laman restaurant. From everything I have heard, it's a really nice place.

I know this is an old thread, but I stayed at DL in Jan and would concur with all the original poster's comments about DL and BD&A (couldn't have said it any better). Can't wait till we go back in 2008!

Kwonger, tell us more about your trip...how were the conditions, and what were your top 5 dives?

I'm heading back with my dive group in 6 weeks, staying at Den Laman and counting each day by! can't wait to get back on Karpata, Hooker, and sip an Amstel Bright out on the beach.

120 days until we take the red eye... EnronX, be sure to post *your* trip report when you get back. ;)

We're the redeye out of Houston on 08/08/08, on island August 9th through 16th.

(Or as Maxwell Smart would say, "Missed it by... *that* much.")
