Great shots and nice report. Can you compare this trip to Roatan? How the diving, food, etc are different would be a good discussion.

Scubamax

You can't really compare Bonaire to Roatan; the diving is so much better in Bonaire. However, the breakfast buffet was much better at FIBR than at CDH, and the trip to Roatan was much cheaper because all food was included and the flight was direct. Both islands are small and fairly undeveloped however I felt safer in Bonaire. Bonaire has more of a European flair while Roatan is more Caribbean. If you care to read it, here's my Roatan trip report from April 2006: http://www.scubaboard.com/showpost.php?p=1737764&postcount=4

I can not wait for my trip to Bonaire now. Thanks for the dive and shore report. We are staying at the Sand Dollar fro June 2nd to June 9th. 45 days and counting.

4 days and counting for me! :D

I just want to say that I looked through your (or your wife's?) photo album and the pictures were absolutely beautiful... I can only hope my shots turn out half as good as yours...

Oops! Sorry, probably confused threads... Anyway, the pictures are excellent!

You'll get there soon enough and will forget all of us back home suffering from PBD. Have a great trip!

Nice topside photos. We still have 37 days. But whose counting. I AM. Thats who. Where are your underwater photos? Did you take any?
