Recently got back from my second trip to Bonaire and once again, had a fantastic time. Lots of diving and lots of new fish/creatures. Found some cheap airfare direct from Newark to Bonaire via Continental (good checked luggage allowance: 2x50 lbs) and some cheaper accommodations at a smaller hotel. Discovered several good, inexpensive restaurants outside the tourist areas, which was really nice. Water temps were between 84F & 86F, and air temps were in the 40's (Celcius) daily. No tradewinds this time of year, so the air temp plus humidity was pretty brutal. Luckily I was in the water a lot (over 26 hrs BT), so no issues :) More mosquitoes and sand flies this time of year too.
