Edit: there seems to be an older gentleman that frequents "sophisticated" websites. I believe we are looking for a younger gentleman based upon what this other gentlemans internet history shows. We possibly have 2 people that use the same name on forums. Disregard the Flickr account.

I found them. They are happily married and she will get online soon. Now let’s hope it’s the right one. Could be more than one and 16 years is a long time.

How did you find them? The suspense is killing me!
I found her. There was a clutch cargo that did some videos of a trip to nova scotia and there was a van in one of them with a business name and I called them and she answered. Privacy isn't all it's cracked up to be when it keeps people from connecting for good reasons. Glad they were transparent enough to be tracked down by a good team effort. Lots of google fu from different folks made this one come together but again, it might be a different lost ring. The suspense is still going to hang in there for a bit longer.
