Thanks everyone; looks like Den Lamen & Harbor Village will be first two choices follwed by the Plaza. May be too late for a last minute trip over X/mas & New Years but I will use this info for a spring 2013 trip being booked early (If no availability for this x/mas).

Out of luck if you were talking Christmas, maybe in luck if Thanksgiving...

Sorry about that... we'll be there for 3 weeks over Christmas and New Years. We stayed there last holiday season and loved it so much that we left behind a deposit for our next trip. Looking forward to repeating the entire experience again this year, this time sharing it with another couple staying in the 2nd apartment. Great property, amazing location, and fantastic friendly hosts.

FWIW this relatively new property is our favorite in 16 years of visiting Bonaire. The new Dive Friends Bonaire Hamlet Oasis shop is located a couple doors to the north (replacing the old cargo container shop) and is icing on the cake.

For the OP: It may be tough finding property with your requirements this close to the holidays. Not sure if you've looked into airfare options yet, but flights are filling up too. For example the weekly Delta Saturday flight from ATL currently shows 1 coach seat and 6 first-class seats available on 12/22. The return flight on 01/05 doesn't show any coach seats available, but they're still (over)selling them.

It looks like we can get flights out of Boston to Aruba on a variety of days. Now just reading through the Bonairetalk forum trying to figure out best local plane option to go from Aruba to Bonaire and on return back to Aruba.

Thanks for the info
