I know man, I didn't mean to imply anything, I am sorry if I gave that impression. On other fora it was already suggested that Ramon would use ammoniac and such, which is a load of crap. I just felt rumors should be stopped right away........
 
That was a good sized lion fish. It's demonstrating that it has been there for quite a while unmolested.

side note- man I can't believe how long he spent catching the thing. Give em another 6 months and everybody will be poking them to death and not wasting all that time trying to capture them.

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if they will start using those suction tubes to catch them. Divers in New England use those in the fall to catch tropicals that came up over the summer in the gulf stream.
 
Watching the video I can see why they don't want anyone but DM's associated with STINAPA doing the captures. Wouldn't take long before some helpful novices would be tearing up the reef, trying to extract their "find"!!!
Lionfish them selves are bad enough, but no one can damage a reef system faster than careless people!
