Lowviz, is that 3 bags on DAE? I'd really like to know how the personal item works for you, they gave CRD some really odd info about them.

What did they tell you?
I'll check the pelican case if necessary but I'm going to try it.

The feeling I have is OVERWHELMED! Why oh why do we pack so much crap for scuba trips?????

LowVizWiz your bags look like mine, only I'm still trying tp get the dive bag under 50 lbs. You are so right Mary, why do we think we need so much crap????

My gear bag weights 40# (including SS BP and 3mm wetsuit)
Cindy's gear bag weight 40# (no BP, but has all swimwear and related clothing)

Haven't packed our smaller third bag yet, but it will just be some clothes and toiletries. Can't weight much.

I also want to remind everyone on
the importance of getting Hydrated before
and
staying Hydrated during the Invasion.
(beer doesn't count)
It will be very hot in Bonaire especially
for the northern folks.
Drinking small amounts continually during the day instead of downing 1-2 glasses a day will help your body retain the liquids better. And remember if your planning on drinking after diving, drink some water in between drinks to help with the adverse effects of drinking and dehyration.
Have fun, but play it smart and safe.
