For anyone that has dove both time frames, is there much difference under the water? I have only made 2 trips in Feb/Mar, but was thinking of making a quick trip this fall.

Thoughts? Thanks for any replies.

I have been there in Oct/Nov, and Mar/April but not in Feb. It can be more rainy in the fall but it was never a big problem for us. Accommodations may be cheaper in the fall and there are likely to be fewer cruise ship visitors. The water is at the warmest in late summer and fall but the water stays pretty warm and constant all year round in Bonaire.

I have had great trips to Bonaire in the fall!

Been there Sept and Jan. Absolutely no difference below the surface. There was unusual weather the months before my January trip. They had daily rainstorms October, November, and December which left a lot of standing water on land and somewhat reduced visibility underwater. Water temps and all other factors were the same underwater. Sept was a definitely a lot hotter on land but no rain and the vis was superb.

I'm going again this Nov 26-Dec 10 and can't wait. No matter what it's like on land there, underwater it's magnificant.

Cant drink. Some of my meds react very badly with alcohol and could kill me. Soooo - lots of beer for you and your friends.

I've been twice in November and had a surprising amount of rain both times. Won't go back at that time of year.

Go every year the first week of Nov for he last 10 years....vis is 70 to 100 feet or a little less and can be windy depending on Hurricanes in the area....but overall a good time to go.

Thanks guys! Sounds like it's pretty good year round. :)

You betcha. The only things you have to worry about is making sure not to get too close to the reef and watching your depth. It's real easy to slowly end up way deeper than you expect.
