Being this thread is gotten so funny, Here some photos I found on the net for snorkeling at windsock, Bonaire .. Windsock made the top 10 list #8 in fact... My Cousin and his girlfriend went to Bonaire and loved the snorkeling... I'll let the photos and facts speak for themselves ...

And a nice little 4 minutes of real life snorkeling on Bonaire...
And I just got off the phone with the head of Bonaire and He said the minute the rest of the world fixes their DRUG and Petty crime problems, Be sure to head down and fix Bonaire... Till then, They will be sitting on the beach drinking a ice cold bright and enjoying the sun shine....

Sad for Bonaire, a great place to dive. Winning the petty crime capital of the Caribbean is nothing to be proud of and nothing to aspire to

Lets not stick to facts , When it's so easy to throw out useless mud slinging... Crime Warnings for Bermuda, Virgin and Cayman Islands

And i'll be drinking a ton of Cold Bright's for 6 weeks come October....

Is there a formal competition for the petty crime capital of the Caribbean? I find that folks with a vested interest are the most defensive, I probably would be too. We previously owned a time share on Grand Cayman, but lost it after hurricane Ivan. Grand Cayman was not quite as civilized as we would have thought, sided with an unscrupulous owner, Ron Foster, who had underinsured Indies Suites. So....it's not who's competing for the bottom rung, but who's competing for the top. Currently, this is not Bonaire. Drinking Brights might help though, temporarily

I don't have any other interest in Bonaire than I love to go there and dive.. Really, I'd like it better if no one goes to Bonaire.. Less people on the dive sites....

I've been to Bonaire 3 times myself and love the diving there. I'll be back also. I wish Bonaire could get a handle on the thugs. It's a sociocultural thing, crime like this is simply acceptable to the locals and the visitors, it does not have to be that way

I agree 100%...When they robbed the store at gun point a few years ago.. Within a week they had the guys in jail.. If you read my posts , I'm a realist and the world is not changing anytime soon.. I'm not letting it ruin my sleep or diving...

I found Bright to be an expensive disappointment compared to an Amstel or even an Amstel Light.

Everyone has their own taste in beer...:drunks::cheers:
