Has anyone heard about the bombing in Bali?
It just came on the news that a nightclub in Bali was bombed and 54 people are dead.
Hopefully no one from the board is over there right now.
If anyone has anymore info, please post.

one reasson i spend so much time underwater or on the board is so i don't have to watch the news.

it is to bad if it is true

Miss AmberDiva,
Just got it off FoxNews.com and they are now up to 110 dead. I also thought about those who participate on this board that might be vacationing currently in Bali and jumped right over here to get the latest...

Best Regards

I just read..149 killed....254 injured!

Messed up isn't it?

Yeah I think it's a bunch of crap!
This makes me sick:upset:
I hope no one we know is there right now!

In case it is not carried on your local news, many of the victims reportedly are foreigners, most of them Australians. The Australian government is advising their citizens to defer non-essential travel to Bali for the time being, and have suggested those already there may want to advance their date of departure from the island. Here is a link to the Australian government announcement on the situation:

181+ dead now. Like said above, a lot are going to be Australian. One Australian Football coach said he is missing 8 of his 19 players. :(

The latest newsreports I heard (16.00h GMT) say that 182 are confirmed dead with over 200 injured.

The British Foreign Office has advised against travel to Bali and Indonesia (US and Canadian advice is bound to be similar).

Extra flights have been arranged for travellers wishing to leave.

For those anxious about family/relations in the region, instruction is to contact their consulate/high commission/embassy.

This is so incredibly sad.

On one of the news I heard this morning they were talking about a PADI club, I know it's also the name of some local tribe, but just wondering if it's anything in relation to scuba.
