I'll post more details tomorrow as I'm short on time right now, but I wanted to have this out there everyone to look at. This is not an OW easy dive, its a real challenge and should not be considered unless your confortable with your dive skills and gear.

Sharkbaite (Brian) will have his boat in the water there, I'll be on that boat as well as Reefguy I belive, and I've got a buddy, Rusty Farst, who I'm enrolling to be on our boat as well.

If you've heard about this place to dive but never been there, this is a great opportunity to get a couple of dives in an awesome location for basically the cost of AIR! :)

I believe you have to be rescue or better this year (unless you've already attended).

I really want to do this year, despite me being WAY spooked of Boca Grande pass.

I think I feel a sick day coming on then....

It's an awesome dive. I know how you feel, though. I was very nervous on my first dive there, luckily there was about 20' of vis. It's really cool there, once you get past the reputation. Of course, they've put it off until April this year, which means closer to when the tarpon will be there. And, of course, their associates :).

20 feet of vis, tarpon just around the corner....good lord. That is no way to put me at ease.

Whats the name of the giant hammerhead that lives nearby?

I spoke to Rusty, he's in for the dive - in fact, he's quite stoked to be able to be photographing the efforts! I'm stoked to be having a diver of his accomplishments sharing in the efforts here locally :)
