1984 Chris Craft cabin cruiser (25 x 10). 5.7 liter inboard gas (only 54 hours). It can hit 22 mph, but Im happy at 12-14 mph when carrying 4 divers, 12 tanks, and other gear. 75 Gal gas tank. Handheld marine VHF, GPS, Loran, and 2 depth finders. We dive the natural reefs and "wrecks" near Destin, FL.
Modifications:
1. A permanent head and holding tank with a dedicated freshwater supply.
2. Fresh water shower mounted in the transom.
3. Pump to supply fresh water shower and sinks in bathroom and galley.
4. Racks for 8 tanks in the stern and horizontal racks for 4 tanks in the bow v-berth.
5. 2 permanent swivel pedestal seats and a pedestal seat for the co-pilot.
6. Overhead racks under the hardtop for spearguns and pokey poles
7. A fold-away tank rest. The diver steps onto the dive platform and sits on the transom facing aft. The tank rest is raised, and the tank and BC positioned for the diver (picture at bottom of post).
8. Two emergency O2 tanks mounted in the cabin.
9. Steel reinforcements on the dive platform.
