Have you been to this park and if so, how was the diving??

I will be in the area between June 7 and 14, but don't have a partner for diving and it seems they require one. Anyone interested in joining me???? I have only completed 12 dives so far so I am still a novice, but I'm not too bad.

Let me know.

Blue Springs is a state park. This means no solo diving......amongst other things. There is only one place where you can enter the water and it is a bit of a hike from the parking lot. Not a problem, but be prepared to haul your gear in the heat for a little while.

The spring basin is shallow and there is a cave. The tube goes down to about 60ft and then further at an angle (about 45 degrees) to 120 ft deep. Please be aware that you need to be cave certified to go down there. Cavern at a minimum down to where the tube moves off.

The river run back to the exit is a nice dive, shallow and full of fish.

Have fun

Meng Tze pretty much hit all the high points.

I don't THINK that I will be able to join up with you in that time frame, but if you want to PM me closer to that weekend, I will try.
