ABQdiver:
I typically go over to Blue Hole on the weekends for the classes, just to dive, etc. Wednesday and Thursday of this week I met a guy from the South Bend, Indiana area (Hi Doug!) and dove with him for the two days. Have to admit, it ain't bad at all when you are the only ones around. Nice and quiet, water was beautiful without all the divers kicking up the stuff.

Down at the bottom, there was this branch that had fallen from a nearby tree, that wasn't unusual, but the thing was filled with crawfish. The crawfish were just hanging on to different branches, must have been a dozen or more I wished I would have brought my camera. A very interesting site, a crawfish tree........

Last month, at the hole, I went down to the bottom early sat. morning to tie off our platform. Next to the weight we tie off to, was a fish skeleton with about 30 crayfish on it. As I decended next to them, they all put there claws up at me, in warning. It was quite comical. On sunday when I went down to retreive our rope, they were still there. As you said, I wish I would have taken my camera. It would have made an interesting picture.

Great pics Robin, keep'um coming!

I really liked the pics as well. It makes me want to go back to the Hole and see more than just the top 20'...

Ah yes, last weekend was quite fun....
upper 60s on Sat and freezing on Sunday. My face is sun burned.
Good pictures of Odyssey Diving row. All of us were parked up front. The big truck on the far left is mine. You even got a picture of Rickster sitting in the water, his blue topped drysuit stands out.
Good pictures...
I have a couple of Perch Lake, but they are at home on that computer....

Some really good pictures of the Hole. robint next time you see us down there (Odyssey) come over and say hi. Greg (Dr. Frankenmule) and I met RonFrank and had a good time. It's good to meet someone off of the Board and put a face with their name. Yes, it was a great weekend. Even the weather was nice.

You know, I bet you saw us. We had a tarp set up right there in the same spot. I am the redhead, we had our teen daughter with us who didn't want to dive this trip, and we have a green pickup. I think we were right next to you and chatted with some of your group.
We are trying to get over at least once a month, with our without our dive shop so we may see you there again!!

Nice pictures. Looks like you were there the same time I was. I saw my friend's truck in the background of one of your pictures. I had a lot of fun that day. It was my first time there to dive without being in a class.
