Blue Hole April 25-27

I decided to start a new thread just for this date. I would like to go to Blue Hole this weekend, but haven’t received any response to my query in the other thread from Colorado divers. So, anyone from Colorado (that are not participating in a class) going down to the Blue Hole this weekend?

I’d like to ride/room share, but at the very least I’d like to know I will have a dive buddy once I get there. I plan on leaving Friday, the exact time and place (can depart Denver or Colo Spgs) is yet to be determined. I plan on returning after a couple dives on Sunday, and maybe some lunch socialization and time to unload some N2 before coming back over the pass.

I'm most likely going to be out there working a class the 26/27, but probably won't get any personal dives in. We can have a chat between dives though.

Myself and another SB member are headed down Friday at around noon.
We are meeting a friend that took rescue class with us down there,who is also from this area, but not on SB who is going down with his Neice, who is taking an AOW course. (I think that was a run-on sentence...lol).

We aren't taking any classes, just doing pleasure dives. At the moment we were going to dive as a three buddy team, but we will definitely have at least two of up for lots of dives, etc.

You are welcome to dive & hang with us...the more the merrier!

PM me if you want to exchange phone info and such.
I don't know what space looks like for ride sharing but we can certainly talk about it, etc.

One of your local dive shops (the one on Academy) has several classes going to the Hole. You might want to contact them because they often have spouses of students, etc. who go along.

Sure. Right now, I plan on. having all day Friday off. When would you like to leave?

Justin, thanks for the offer to share your ride. If things pan out with Ron, we'll ride down together and see you there.

I'll PM my cell phone number so we can reach eachother. Ron prefers Adobe Inn so I think we'll probably be staying there too.

Ron and I plan to be down there Friday afternoon/evening. Depending on how soon we get away, we might be able to get a couple dives in. I'm sure we'll do a night dive. Ron really likes those

Justin and friends will also be down sometime Friday afternoon/evening, and I think they want to get in a dive Friday too. Justin also mentioned to me that he'd like to check out Perch Lake. Anyone know how cold that is? I think Justin is diving wet. But he's young. We can still remember that. I think Tom and I have just had one weekend each in our new drysuits so far.
