Thanks! Yes I was talking about the 14th or 15th. Any chance Force-E or Pura Vida will be having a night dive?

Edit: actually Friday the 15th would be better.

Free Blue Heron Bridge Night Dive: Nov 16 - Force-E

This one by Force E is on the 16th, I will check Pura Vida's site for an event on the 15th. I'm guessing that someone is doing a night dive on Friday the 15th of November.........

Pura Vida is also doing a BHB night dive along with a Thanksgiving potluck on the 16th of November.

Thanks for the response. I would love to do the Saturday dive, but don't think I will be able to make it. I have to drive back to Huntsville Alabama Saturday. As it is, if I do the Thursday or Friday Dives, I will have to sneak out of work early to drive down.

Jawfish are some of my favorites at the bridge. Hope this isn't too off topic, but ran across this Pacific Ocean species in an email about a photo contest tonight and am thinking that these guys *must* be related to our jawfishies, in spite of their bizarre names. Fish Index: Sarcastic Fringehead (Neoclinus blanchardi) Certainly entertaining. :D

What a name!! I think of bald(fringhead)divers as I share that look. That's a good moniker to use when meeting new people at holiday parties, " Hi, I am a sarcastic fringehead" or simply "fringehead" if one must tone it down!!!

BHB today--3-5 ft of viz. The temp. started at 79 on my Suunto and went down to 77F. We stayed in 90 minutes anyway and saw several pipefish and seahorses, including a good sized orange SH. Thanks Jenny! Also saw a school of horse eye jacks, a nudi sized fish in the feather algae. Some of the largish sheepshead were up in the shallow area off the beach.

Twas a good dive! Thanks for being my wandering buddy! Never saw the jacks, cause my head was buried looking for little things.

That chocolate was worth the trip to Aldi alone!! Got 1 dark and 1 milk with hazelnuts--tried the dark, wonderful stuff, astounding for 99 cents! Wow! Thanks again Jenny! Good dive too! Sorta stayed on topic with that BHB dive mention!

I might be able to make this dive...

When I first saw it, I thought that if it's no good, I've only lost a buck.. Instead I found a really tasty chocolate that hits the spot when those cravings arrive..

For those that go to Aldi..

(in doing the search, yes! it is German Chocolate!)

Tad bit windy today.

Thought this was one of those feather algae anemones I've been seeing of late, but now think it might be a nudi..

And another anemone. I bumped the contrast up pretty good to try to get some definition.. (sorry..) about 3" wide...

Went to Aldi after lunch, got the chocolate, got home, tried the chocolate. Yep, it was pretty darn good. Love that dark chocolate. Thanks Jenny.

It was a tad windy. Small rollers coming in on the beach. Lol. Have never seen that before at BHB. Very high tide. But still a good dive. Ready to do it again Thursday.

That was the Diva on as jimw--Thanks from both of us Jenny!
